safari park. The package includes two nights in a safari tent, a 2 
hour guided tour for a family of 4 in an authentic safari vehicle, dinner
for 4 one night, and continental breakfasts both mornings.

Situated on 400 acres of breathtaking foothills in the heart of the Wine
Country, Safari West is home to over 350 exotic, endangered and
extinct-in-the-wild African mammals and birds. Guests at Safari West
spend an unparalleled 2-3 hours on a unique educational trek that takes
them through the rolling hills of the reserve. Accompanied by a
naturalist, groups get the rarest of opportunities to photograph and film
herds of antelope, eland, gazelle, zebra, and many, many more. Because
the animals live in vast acreage, they are comfortable with the vehicles
creating the most unequaled excursion available short of getting on a
plane and flying to Africa.

Safari West features the only accommodations of its kind in North
America. The Tent Camp at Safari West is an African-style oasis,
offering intimate exposure to the varied wildlife within the boundaries
of the unique preserve. The Tent Camp consists of authentic African
safari tents, canvas with hardwood floors. Each private tent has a king
sized bed or two doubles, custom built wood furniture and a bathroom with
shower. All tents are close to, but separated from, the exotic
wildlife. The cafe has excellent food and panoramic views.
