LBNL ATLAS group WWW Improvement Plan

Purpose:
To have every member of the LBNL ATLAS group on the web so that every useful piece of information is made available more efficiently.

• Web servers available to the LBNL ATLAS group (and where many have already accounts):
  • sts.lbl.gov (http://www-physics.lbl.gov)
  • pxs.lbl.gov (http://www-atlas.lbl.gov)
  • URL/~name/ if subdirectory public_html exists in home directory
• HTML templates available to download at:
  • http://www-atlas.lbl.gov/~pxsys/people.html
  • http://www-atlas.lbl.gov/~pxsys/template.html
• For PC users only:
  • Creation of missing accounts on sts or pxs
  • Possibility of using web tools to generate html files
  • Create, edit files on the PC and then FTP them to the public_html area
  • Special tutorial (by me) on various procedures
