in the East Bay to bring interesting speakers and panel discussions focused on issues that are common
to the Windrush Community.
Windrush Parents Association Meeting on teens issues
On Wednesday, January 26 at
7:00 pm
in the Cafeteria,
the WPA will host
an evening for middle school parents (and all parents) to get together while also hearing about and di
scussing, developmental issues related to the teen years.
Moderator: Dean Lobovits, an experienced therapist who works with this age extensively and parent of a
3rd grader at Windrush

Deborah Stipek, Dean of Stanford, School of Education, comes to Windrush.
On February 1 at 7:00 PM Dr. Deborah Stipek will present a talk to parents
about how to help raise children to love learning.
Dr. Stipek is the coauthor of
Motivated Minds: Raising Children to Love Learning, published in 2001.
